Cornish Mine Images – The Modern Mines

The Modern Mines website has finally been retired. Originally it was planned as a stand alone site which would expand as time went on. As things worked out it seemed pointless to maintain the two sites so I have decided to close it down.

However the main website has now expanded to over 200 pages and 4,300 images, and I have incorporated all the content from The Modern Mines Website into this one.

The popular Facebook Page has really taken off so please have a look.

Cornish Mine Images – The Modern Mine 4: In 2016 I was so very lucky to gain access to many of the Clay Pits in the St Austell Area. This was taken in Great Wheal Prosper China Stone Quarry. The pages are very extensive and certainly contain some of my best photographic work.
