The Cornish Mine Images – The Modern Mines this website has finally been retired. Originally it was planned as a stand alone site which would expand as time went on. As things worked out it seemed pointless to maintain the two sites so I have decided to close it down.
However the main website has now expanded to over 200 pages and 4,300 images, and I have incorporated all the content from The Modern Mines Website into this one.

Cornish Mine Images – The Modern Mines 1: This is the Falmouth Docks. Taken from the viewing platform above. The image was taken with a fish eye lens to provide some interesting distortion to the view.
